### How pricing works

Gradient pricing is simple. Your plan lets you use different Gradient tools and determines your limits (e.g. # of concurrent notebooks). You are also charged for the compute time that you use (unless you are using a free machine type) and for any storage overages which is billed at $0.29/GB.

Total =
Subscription + Utilization

**Example:** Assume you have a Pro subscription ($8/mo) and you use 12 hours on a P6000 GPU ($1.10/hour). Your total charge at the end of the month would be 8 + 12 * 1.10 = $21.2

## FAQs

**How does pricing work?**
Your plan lets you use different Gradient tools and determines your limits. You are also charged for storage overages ($0.29/GB) and for compute usage (unless you are using a “free” instance types).

**What forms of payment do you accept?**
We use Stripe to process payments. We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Custom invoicing is available on our business plans. [Contact our sales team](/content/contact-sales/index.html) to learn more.

**When will I be billed?**
Billing occurs monthly and runs at midnight on the first of each month. You can check view your invoices on the billing tab and track compute utilization in real-time on the utilization tab.

**Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?**
You can upgrade or cancel your paid subscriptions at any time from within your console.

**Do you offer refunds?**
No. Please open a support ticket if there are extenuating circumstances.

**What's the difference between individual and team plans?**
When you sign up for Gradient, you start with a "private workspace." This is your individual plan. To invite collaborators, create a new team and you'll see an option to invite other users. Your private workspace and team(s) are billed separately.

**Can I set a billing alert or limit?**
Yes! Navigate to the billing tab to control alerts and limits account-wide. On a team, you can also set individual alerts and limits on each user by opening the settings panel for a specific user.

**Is private data shared with third parties or advertisers?**
No.

**How do I cancel my account?**
You can cancel your account anytime through the console, under the settings tab.
